This FAQ page is an information source for students who have been extended an offer of admission into our MBID Master’s program. The MBID program is three semesters (Fall, Spring and Summer) and 12 hours of credit per semester.
Please note your admission offer is contingent upon also meeting Georgia Tech rules for admission and registration which includes final transcripts, proof of citizenship, immunization, etc. which is stated in your offer letter.
Below are FAQs to assist you with questions you may have.
1. To accept or deny admission for our program please use CollegeNET.
2. All documents must be submitted to Grad Studies before classes start. DO NOT send missing documents to the department as they must be sent to Grad Studies at the address below:

3. To check the status of your application for missing documents use the following link, http://www.gradadmiss.gatech.edu/status-checking. The department cannot inform you what documents you are missing, GT Grad Studies reviews your application and informs you through CollegeNET what items are missing.
4. If you need to submit your transcript electronically to GT you will need to use their secure link transcripts@grad.gatech.edu. This is a special email address just for secure Electronic Transcripts.
5. Any documents that are not uploaded with your online application will need to be mailed in one envelope (with your name as it appears on the application written on the front) to Graduate Studies. Please do not staple, clip, bind, or tie your documents together. Leave all sheets loose, and stack them in order. This will speed up the processing of your application. Mail all documents to the address below:

7. Paying for school. Please visit the following GT website for information on financial aid resources, http://www.gradadmiss.gatech.edu/paying-for-graduate-school.
- MBID students can secure TA’s and RA’s positions in other GT departments but GT will not provide tuition waivers for these positions due to the unique status of MBID as a Professional Master’s Program.
- Each year, TA positions become available where MBID students can apply. We will notify all students in case any become available prior to your joining the Fall class. (MBID does not offer Scholarships).
- Queries on other types of financial aid (such as student loans, scholarships, etc.) should be directed to the Financial aid Office, http://www.finaid.gatech.edu/ or through Grad Studies at http://www.gradadmiss.gatech.edu/paying-for-graduate-school.
