FAQs for Admitted Students

This FAQ page is an information source for students who have been extended an offer of admission into our MBID Master’s program. The MBID program is three semesters (Fall, Spring and Summer) and 12 hours of credit per semester.

Please note your admission offer is contingent upon also meeting Georgia Tech rules for admission and registration which includes final transcripts, proof of citizenship, immunization, etc. which is stated in your offer letter.

Below are FAQs to assist you with questions you may have.

1. To accept or deny admission for our program please use CollegeNET.

2. All documents must be submitted to Grad Studies before classes start. DO NOT send missing documents to the department as they must be sent to Grad Studies at the address below:

Graduate Studies
Georgia Institute of Technology
631 Cherry Street, Room 318
Atlanta, GA 30332-0321

3. To check the status of your application for missing documents use the following link, http://www.gradadmiss.gatech.edu/status-checking. The department cannot inform you what documents you are missing, GT Grad Studies reviews your application and informs you through CollegeNET what items are missing.

4. If you need to submit your transcript electronically to GT you will need to use their secure link transcripts@grad.gatech.edu. This is a special email address just for secure Electronic Transcripts.

5. Any documents that are not uploaded with your online application will need to be mailed in one envelope (with your name as it appears on the application written on the front) to Graduate Studies. Please do not staple, clip, bind, or tie your documents together. Leave all sheets loose, and stack them in order. This will speed up the processing of your application. Mail all documents to the address below:

Graduate Studies
Georgia Institute of Technology
631 Cherry St., Room 318
Atlanta, GA 30332-0321

6. Required documents vary based on your citizenship and residency status. Visit the following link for required documents, http://www.gradadmiss.gatech.edu/supporting-documents.
